The Galakiwi trip is the trip of a lifetime for water enthusiasts. Traveling from island to island in the Galapagos ensures you’re always near the ocean and the amount of dives and snorkeling is perfect for the weeklong trip. The way the sea lions play with and follow you through the water every time you hop in was the ultimate highlight for me.
6 or 7 years have passed since I was on a Galakiwi trip and it’s stuck with me like a curse. I compare every place and every trip to San Cristobal and the rest of the islands and nothing comes close to it. We travelled with Galakiwi in 2008 and had an outstanding time. The small group size and the mix of snorkeling, hiking and biking activities gave us a variety of ways to enjoy the islands and experience the animals up close. While other tours were riding around in zodiacs, we were actually swimming with dolphins. Unforgettable!
