Effective August 1, 2024, the Galapagos National Park entry fee will be increasing from $100US to $200US for anyone coming to the islands for a Galapagos land tour or Galapagos cruise.
An increase to this fee has been rumored for many years, and this is the first increase in more than 25 years. The funds collected by the National Park play a pivital role in supporting the local communities and conservation initiatives across the islands. Your contribution directly aids in the protection of this unique ecosystem and its diverse inhabitants.
Despite the increase, it's important to note that compared to many other wildlife-famous destinations this entry fee is still very affordable, and Galakiwi is happy to see more funds go towards the continued conservation and community efforts of the Galapagos National Park.
