Ecuador awarded Global Safe Travel Stamp by World Travel & Tourism Council
In recognition of Ecuador implementing the global hygiene and sanitation protocols, Ecuador has been awarded the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) Safe Travel Stamp.
The Safe Travel Stamp aims to ensure the responsible and safe reopening of tourism. Designed to regain visitors' trust, the stamp allows travelers to identify destinations worldwide that have adopted global standardized health and hygiene protocols.
The protocols of the World Travel and Tourism Council were developed following the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and are supported by the World Tourism Organization.
The stamp is a critical step in re-establishing confidence in travel and ensuring travelers can have peace of mind knowing that enhanced hygiene standards are in place. Travelers can once again experience safe travels.
At Galakiwi, the health and safety of our guests is always our priority. We are pleased that the stamp will allow travelers to recognize Ecuador as a safe travel destination.
