At Playa de los Marinos in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno you’ll find a large colony of sea lions.

Sometimes the sea lions spread out beyond the beach, going as far as trying to sleep on the road that goes along the waterfront!

Usually, they’re content lying around on the cool ground near Calypso restaurant, where there happens to be a new “San Cristobal” sign too.

Intended to be a nice spot for visitors to take a selfie or some photos, it seems the sea lions have decided they own the sign area too, and are often seen climbing on the sign and lying around in front of it.
