Floreana Island Hotel Photos
When the population of an entire island is less than 150, you should be a bit surprised that there are any hotels at all! Floreana has become a highlight for many of our travelers, thanks to Galakiwi having a long-lasting relationship with our friends who live there. It is not an easy island to spend the night on, which is why you’ll see most other company’s skipping it. But, we know better. There is so much history to this island, it is always fun to visit. With black sand beaches – a stark contrast to the white soft sand of Isabela – Puerto Velasco Ibarra offers a unique sleeping experience.
This is easily the best place to do some star-gazing at night, or perhaps see some sea turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs at night.
